ANNOUNCEMENT

 

In regard to grants given by “All Armenian Foundation Financing Armenological Studies” (AAFFAS) for the purpose of issuing Armenological publications  and holding  conferences, symposiums related to the same  question.

 

 “All Armenian Foundation Financing Armenological Studies” (AAFFAS) funds the fulfillment of crucial Armenological projects, i.e. organizing of Armenological conferences and summer schools publications of fundamental, novel research on Armenological studies, translations and promulgation of Armenological issues.

 In 2023 the Foundation plans to provide financing for fundamental and topical Armenological publications and translations in the following fields:

1. fundamental studies carried out in diverse Armenological disciplines;
2. research on Arstakh’s history, culture and events of its modern phase;
3. research on revealing attempts at falsification of Armenian history and expropriation of Armenian culture with scientific substantiation, concerning the invalidity of these endeavors;
4. studies on the Armenian identity.

 

 The Foundation plans to finance organization of Armenological events in the following fields:

1. summer schools aimed at training specialists in Armenological  studies;
2. convening conferences and symposiums.

 

 Eligible researchers must hold scientific degrees and must be employed at scientific organizations and higher education institutions in the Republic of Armenia. All those individuals seeking financial support from “All Armenian Foundation Financing Armenological Studies” for the publication of research on the aforementioned issues and realization of the pertinent projects are to send their application to the Foundation e-mail (info@haygithimnadram.am) by March 1, 2023. The applicants’ applications must be approved by the Scientific Council of the scientific organization or higher educational institution where they are employed.   

 

 In their application for the publication of studies, the applicants are to introduce the topicality of the research, its scientific novelty, and brief representation of the argument, findings, and their applicability (if possible), the feasible exact time frame of the publication. The expected amount of financing, the main criteria of publication (content, inclusion of pictures, the quality of paper, etc.) along with two reviews are to be submitted.

 

 In regard to Armenological conferences, symposiums, etc., in the application for the grant, the applicant is to expound the exigency of the project, its aim, specific issues, concise content, the methods of achieving results, the time frame within which the project is to be fulfilled, the amount of the money to be allocated and the purpose of its expenditure.
