The book “Jambr” by Catholicos of All Armenians Simeon A. Yerevantsi (1710-1780) was published with the funding of the Foundation.

The book presents to the readers the completed examination manuscript of “Jambr” in comparison with the author’s manuscripts and the 1873 edition of the book. The primary source presents the history of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the enthronement of the Armenian patriarchs, church dioceses, hierarchical sees (from Caucasian Albania, Aghtamar and Cilicia) and, based on the documents of the archive of the Mother See, a detailed picture of the legal and socio-economic situation of Saint Etchmiadzin.

It is published in the “Documents of Economic History” series and is intended for specialists in Armenian Studies, economic history, as well as broad range of readers.
